The September 1969 issue of Amazing Stories included a negative review of the Perihelion fanzine on pages 133-4. Perihelion publisher Sam Belloto responded to the review (pages 136-8) invoking Dean’s name as “professional author” he has published. That prompted this response letter from Dean .
