“Why purchase the KWP Definitive Edition of Frankenstein? I believe it to be a book that will be highly sought after for years to come. Some of the features include: An Introduction written by Dean Koontz, an Essay written by Ray Garton, Impressive artwork by Alex McVey, Keith Minnion, & Glenn Chadbourne, smythe sewn cloth binding, silver foil stamping on front and spine, 1 color (Minnion) and 8 b&w interior illustrations (Chadbourne)!”

A special note from the publisher regarding the number of copies of the Signed Noble Edition written specifically for this book:

“Originally, the print run was only to include a Noble Trade Edition, A Signed Regal Edition and a Signed Royal Edition with print runs of 100, 200, & 26 respectively. Late in the game, I decided to have Glenn Chadbourne do a remarque on the back of each signature page. It is customary to run extra copies of each edition. These become “PC” copies if unused. Sometimes a book will have an imperfection or flaw making it unusable for anything but a deeply discounted “scratch & dent” copy. Additionally, the printer likes to have up to 30% extra in signature pages and tip-in artwork for each title. Somehow a lot get destroyed sometimes.

“Glenn was so happy with the money I paid that he remarqued every signature page that I sent him. The printer called me and let me know that they had 60 signature pages left over. It broke my heart to think of 60 original Glenn Chadbourne illustrations getting trashed, not to mention the expense it cost to get these remarqued.

“I authorized the printer to use the signature pages in some of the Noble Trade Editions. Imagine my surprise when I took inventory and found that I had 70, instead of 60 signed copies! I had forgotten to change the website until now, and I will do it tomorrow. Thanks for letting me know.”
