PLEEEEASE don’t let this be the last book in the series! I love Odd and all of his experiences! This is Koontz’s best books since Watchers! I had actually quit reading his books but took a chance with Odd! That chance paid off! Odd Thomas is a totally engrossing character with interesting story lines that grip the reader and pull them in! Please don’t let the series end here! There is too much ground to cover for just one more book!!
Please more odd thomas and christopher snow!! They are amazing characters and I love the idea of series books. Please make them movies too!! Im a Fan 🙂
I saw the Odd Thomas Movie. It was pretty good for the most part( I still like the book way better.) Most of the characters were pretty fitting, however, the Bodachs were not at all as I had them pictured. I think they should have looked more the the “Bad Spirits” from the movie “Ghost”. Also, I think the “Bob Robertson” character was off.
Yes, I think the bodachs should have looked more like the bad spirits in Ghost. Rather, they looked like the things from the Harry Potter movies. Should have been more undefined and shapeless.
Just saw the Odd Thomas movie and I loved it!! I cried through the whole ending because I already knew what happened. Betty White has GOT to play the old lady in the limo in the next one! Hope there is a next one. I was never a big reader until I found the odd Thomas series. Keep up the good work Dean!
I agree with most of you the book is better than the movie. The ghost of Elvis rocked, no pun intended. Koontz is the best, I love all his books. Ever since I read The Watchers I was hooked. Just finished The City. But, alas all things must come to an end. If you have another Odd Thomas in you please go for it. If not it was a great ride while it lasted. I am looking forward to Saint Odd.
there should have been the ghost Elvis in the movie, at least as a cameo, rather than just having the cardboard Elvis cutout in one brief scene in Odd’s apartment. If every book is made into a movie, what will they do with future books? Not have the ghost Elvis in? What about Sinatra’s ghost? Or Hithcock’s? Should have had Elvis in.
So when and where can I get this book? I have read all the Odd books (and a few others by Dean) and although I am saddened to see this be the last, like all else, even Odd Thomas has a finish waiting for him…
