I have found two versions of the cover for this issue. One states “January 1969” the other “January ‘69”. I can find no other differences between the two.

“In the Shield” was combined with “Where the Beast Runs” and formed into “Fear that Man”. I just read “In the Shield” from the IF 1969 collection and swore I knew it from somewhere else.
