A two paragraph letter to the editor of Locus magazine not being able to spend much time with him at what I assume was a recent convention. The letter also came with a check [not included in the Locus Collection] for the Locus/[Theodore] Sturgeon Fund. to which Dean added “I can think of no other writer who, in my high school and college years, had a greater effect on me.”
