(4to) 11x8½, gilt-decorated maroon cloth, color pictorial jacket, publisher's cloth slipcase. No. 17 of 50 copies designated as the "Collector’s Edition," with a special inscription by Koontz and an original drawing by Phil Parks, laid in. First Edition. Signed by Koontz and Parks in the colophon, with Koontz's signed inscription: "When the darkness speaks the evil listen." The original laid-in signed graphite drawing by Parks is also inscribed: "For Art - This proves you can't keep a good goblin down, Phil Parks." Includes the publisher's 20-page "Bonus Section" booklet with a double-page folding color plate and is inscribed and signed by both Koontz and Parks in the same gold ink: "To Art Stone - obsessive collector, obsessive, period! Dean R. Koontz" and "For Art. Keep Those Goblins Happy! Phil Parks." Also, other laid-in paper material, including an informational letter from the publisher and the publisher's ordering information sheet.

No. 114 of 250 copies designated as the "Signature Edition," this copy being a special issue, one of 9 copies, which contains an original color drawing by Phil Parks before the title page. First Edition.
Signed by the author and artist in the colophon. Signed by the publisher on the title page. Original color drawing inscribed and signed: "To Art, Next trip to the carnival, it might be wise to exercise above average care, watching for guys in human disguise fixing rides that don't need repair! Phil Parks." Also, a typed letter signed by Parks, dated October 4, 1990, addressed to Art Stone, explaining that this copy "is one of nine in [a] small series and is not likely to be repeated elsewhere. Unless, of course, you give a thousand monkeys colored pencils and unlimited sheets of paper..." and the publisher's 20-page "Bonus Section" booklet with a double-page folding color plate signed by Koontz and Parks, laid in.

A promotional poster of the cover artwork was also released in two known states:

  • State A: Unnumbered, signed by both Dean and Phil. Quantity unknown.
  • State B: 350 numbered copies, some signed by both Dean and Phil, some signed by just Phil. The number of each are unknown.
