Boxed Sets

May 19, 2014

Back in the 90s there were a bunch of Dean Koontz boxed sets released. Unfortunately, I don’t have any sort of list as to which books were released in which sets. However, I do have three of those boxes in my collection. Here they are, each pictures from two sides since each has two pieces of art/photography on the box.

Dean on beta

March 16, 2014

Just picked myself up a copy of Demon Seed on beta. Looks like Watchers was the only other film released on beta and I have a line on a copy or two. On the laserdisc front, I just discovered that Phantoms was released in that format so I’m on the look out for one of those too.

Finally got my hands on this one which completes my set of Odd Thomas numbered editions. (I also have a lettered edition of Odd Thomas.)

Putnam Limited Editions

September 1, 2013

Back in the mid- to late-90s Putnam did a series of five limited editions of titles of Dean’s they were publishing. Four were spectacularly illustrated both on the dust jacket and slipcases. By the last one, The Bad Place, it’s like they hardly put in any effort at all.

Dean on DVD

August 29, 2013

Wondering what Dean’s stuff looks like on DVD? Here’s what I believe is a complete collection. I’ll leave it to you to figure out some of the more non-obvious discs I’ve included. (As always, let me know if you think I’ve missed something.)

Frickin' lasers!

August 26, 2013

Did you know that several Dean Koontz films (for better or for worse) were released on laserdisc? I think I have a complete collection. Please feel free to correct me if I’m missing one. (Sharks not included.)
