March 11, 2019

Just one new entry this week but it signals the push to get all of the Odd Thomas novels into the site finally. Also, I spent way too much time digging for the release date of a certain trade paperback edition which sadly revealed no results. Check out the entry for details.

Obscure references is the topic of the week. That and there’s now a copy of the Hideaway script in my collection.

Autographs from Trixie and Dean

I’m a day late and nothing to show for it beyond the few blog posts of this past week. I’m going to blame it on illness, other life events, and losing some steam after my vacation. Here’s looking forward to this week and getting back on track with new entries and updates.

Eventually I do intend to reformat the whole thing so that this appendix looks more like the Books About Dean page, but that’s on my list of “long term issues” to deal with later. (Same with the Errors appendix.)

And last but not least, I’ve added images for these entries on the Collecting Errors appendix…

A bunch of related items this week.

What’s New & Updated January 28, 2019

January 28, 2019

All the print collections are now done. Though as previously mentioned, I need to list these on the individual title pages. One other note, I don’t own copies of the two 2004 UK omnibus editions listed below. If you have copies, I’d love to hear from you.

What’s New & Updated January 21, 2019

January 21, 2019

As mentioned last week, these omnibus editions are a bear to work with. Several more have been entered with all the relevant cross-references. But then I realized that I need to list the omnibus editions on the individual title pages. (For example, Dean Koontz: 3 Complete Novels needs to be an entry on the Intensity page.) At this point the plan is to get through creating pages for all the omnibus editions then circle back and get them listed on the individual title pages.

But also this week a package arrived with some fanzines. I’ll get to the ‘zines that have “contributions” from Dean eventually, but this week’s arrivals all things like reviews and mentions of Dean so I got those listed in the appropriate places on the site. Be sure to check them out.

What’s New & Updated January 14, 2019

January 14, 2019

I spent most of this past week at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas as part of my day job. It’s fun. It’s exhausting. But I still managed to get a few of the Omnibus editions added to the site today.

What’s New & Updated January 7, 2019

January 7, 2019

I dug into the audiobook collections this week and got those finished off along with some odds and ends. As I’ve probably mentioned before, the cross references are what will kill me. (Hence the avoidance of the Odd Thomas and Frankenstein books for as long as possible.)

What’s New & Updated December 10, 2018

December 10, 2018

Other things in my life have taken priority this week so just these two updates.

Whats New & Updated December 3, 2018

December 3, 2018

This week, most notably, I doubled the number of entries in the reviews category. I’d put money on 99.9% of visitors to this site never having heard of these piece. That being said, they all do fall under the “Dean denies these were written by him” category and I have noted as such accordingly.

Whats New & Updated November 19, 2018

November 19, 2018

Last week I discovered an issue with site on the back end and have alerted the wonderful folks who are working on a fix. It’s nothing you’ll probably notice, but I’m doing my best to stay out of their way and not add more content while they work out a solution. As a result, just the one addition this week.

The Night Window ARC in my hands

November 13, 2018

Yep, I got one today!

What’s New & Updated November 12, 2018

November 12, 2018

The one thing that has come from turning a print manuscript into a Web site is figuring out all the not so uncommon items that are actually missing from my collection. (I should post that list.) This week I stopped by my area Half Price Books and found four, yes, four items that I was missing for no more than $25 total. The moral of this story, keep on hunting.

Not much this week, but definitely an interesting item or two.

What’s new & updated October 21, 2018

October 21, 2018

The first pass is done! Now come the hard bits of the collections, the Frankenstein series, and the Odd Thomas series. Why did I put these off? Because the cross-references are going to be a serious pain.

What’s New & Updated October 15, 2018

October 15, 2018

I’m literally just a few entries short of completing the first past. The next update should it that completed.

What’s New & Updated October 8, 2018

October 8, 2018

I’m getting close to completing the first pass as there are less than 15 entries left. (Maybe I’ll get that done this week…) Then I’ll start focusing on all the titles that start with “Dean Koontz,” The Odd Thomas series, and the Frankenstein books.

Yep, three-day weekend, but circumstances ended up keeping me away from the site for most of it. But i do have one update for you.

This week gets us a lot of author’s notes in various titles along with a few other odds & ends.
